Samsung launches 4-hour installation service for appliances in India

Samsung's ramping up its customer outreach in India to capitalize on the shopping activity generated during the festive season. The company has launched several deals across its entire portfolio, including significant discounts on some of its best phones.

The company has now turned its attention to home appliances. It has launched a new 4-hour installation and demo service, allowing customers in key municipalities to have their new appliances installed within just four hours.

Under this initiative, customers in India can get their new Samsung appliances installed in just four hours of registering a request, as long as they're located within municipal limits. This service is being offered for Samsung refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, microwave ovens, and televisions.

Customers will also be able to get assistance from the installation service providers to learn more about the capabilities of the products. They will receive a personalized demonstration as well as guidance on how to connect those devices to Samsung's SmartThings ecosystem.

It's worth noting that this speedy installation service is only being provided for a limited time until October 21, 2025. The four hour promise is only for customers located within municipal limits, those located outside will have a 24-hour installation window. Customers have to call in a request for this installation service once the product has been delivered to their location.
