After endless speculation about its arrival, Samsung Internet for PC was finally released last year, bringing synergy across the Galaxy and Windows ecosystems for users.

Samsung continues to improve the browser's functionality with frequent updates. It has released one such update today that adds support for users' Windows sign-in methods.

It's easier now to get Samsung Internet beta for PC

The first signs about Samsung Internet launching for PC emerged back in 2023 when the app was made available for a brief period. Samsung formally released it in October 2025, albeit as beta, thereby enabling greater integration with the Galaxy ecosystem.

Samsung today released version 29.0.0.148 of Samsung Internet beta for PC. The change log mentions that Samsung Pass on Samsung Internet will now require verification using the Windows sign-in method. This will further improve security for users.

The feature works much in the same way as apps like BitWarden or Google Password Manager on Chrome, that also rely on the Windows sign-in method for access control.

As the browser remains in beta, Samsung previously required those who wanted to download it to have a Samsung Developer account. It wasn't difficult to get started, we had created an easy guide to get registered on the Samsung Developer Portal.

Thankfully, it's much easier to get the browser now, as the developer portal registration is no longer required. Anyone wishing to use Samsung Internet for PC can now download it right away from https://browser.samsung.com/beta.
