People who purchased it during the Amazon Prime Day paid INR 11,000 less compared to current prices.

It hasn’t even been fifteen days since Samsung launched its latest Galaxy M series smartphone, the Galaxy M47, in India, and now, the brand has increased the phone’s price in the country from INR 7,000 to INR 8,000, depending on the variant (via Abhishek Yadav). Below are the old and the new prices.
New Galaxy M47 prices in India:
Samsung is selling the Galaxy M47 exclusively via Amazon (apart from its official website and the Samsung Shop app), and it had put the device on sale during Prime Day. As such, the brand was offering an INR 2,000 discount as well as an INR 1,000 discount coupon on all the variants during the sales event, for a total benefit of INR 3,000.
With those discounts, the phone’s 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB variants were available for INR 22,999, INR 25,999, and INR 30,999, respectively. It means that people purchasing now versus a few days ago will have to pay between INR 10,000 and INR 11,000 more, depending on the variant they are going for.
Samsung hasn’t said why it has increased the price of the Galaxy M47 in India, but we assume that it is due to the ongoing memory chip crisis.
