Nightography is what Samsung calls the low-light camera performance of its phones. It has been using this brand for years now as a way to showcase just how better at this its Galaxy S models are.

Samsung is sticking with it for the upcoming lineup as well. The company has posted a Galaxy S26 Nightography teaser that hypes up the low-light chops of its new phones.

Camera improvements are par for the course with new flagships

Great low-light camera performance relies on more than just the hardware itself. Even though Samsung has made considerable camera hardware improvements over the past few years to specifically address this aspect, a lot must be done on the software side of things as well.

That's why Samsung has developed the Nightography branding to bring the improvements that it makes on both the hardware and software under one umbrella. The latest Galaxy S26 teaser it has posted on X hints at similar improvements for the new lineup.

However, based on the reports so far, Samsung isn't expected to make any significant upgrades to the camera setup on all three models. There will likely be some betterment on the software side of things, as well as the enhanced processing capabilities that the new chipset offers.

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S26 series will be unveiled at its Unpacked event on February 25, 2026 in San Francisco, California. Expect the teaser and leaks from unofficial sources to continue coming in till then.
