Extended warranty plans now available for Samsung home appliances in India

Samsung is bringing the option to buy extended warranty plans for its home appliances in India. The company's premium after-sales service plans were earlier available only for Galaxy phones and tablets but have now expanded to support air conditioners, microwave ovens, TVs, washing machines, and more.

The Samsung Care+ premium after-sales service plan is now available for Samsung's microwave ovens, refrigerators, room air conditioners (ACs), TVs, and washing machines in India. These plans range from 1 year to 4 years, depending on the user's need and preferences.

Samsung says its improved Samsung Care+ plan covers software update and screen malfunction (doesn't include physical damage) issues. This ensures customers are safe from hardware and software issues that might arise.

The South Korean firm already has a wide network of after-sales service centers across India. It has over 2,500 service centres and over 13,000 qualified engineers, and the company uses genuine spare parts to offer high-quality repairs for its devices. Users can track their device's service progress through an app.
