Last month, Samsung increased the prices of three of its smartphones — Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy F17 — in India, most likely due to rising memory prices. If that wasn’t already a bummer for people looking forward to buying these devices, the brand is hiking the prices of these phones once again.
On X, AN Leaks has shared an image of what looks like Samsung’s communication to its retailers in India about increasing the prices of the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy F17. You can check out the old and the new prices below.

As you can see, Samsung has kept the prices of the base variants of the Galaxy A56 and the Galaxy A36 the same as before, but increased the prices of their mid and top versions by INR 1,000 and INR 2,000, respectively.
As for the Galaxy F17, its base and mid variants now come at an INR 1,000 premium, and the top model will set you back an additional INR 1,500 than before. The new prices are yet to go live on Samsung’s website.
That means you still have a chance to grab these phones at older/lower prices. Samsung hasn’t said why it has increased the prices, but it could be due to rising memory prices.
