An upcoming Samsung Health app update will provide you with more helpful information. According to a report from AndroidAuthority, you can scan your medication using the camera to automatically add its name, strength (mg), and form (capsule, syrup, or tablet). Moreover, the app will offer general descriptions and possible side effects of those drugs.
The Medications feature already offers possible adverse drug effects when they are taken alongside other drugs or certain foods. In the future, Samsung Health can also let you know if there could be some side effects of taking those drugs if you already have some allergies. You can also add your allergies to the app.
The story continues after the video below.
The Samsung Health app will notify you if there is a potential for any side effects of medicine that are related to your existing medications or allergies. All of this information was found by digging through the code of the latest version of the Samsung Health app. While there is no credible information about when these new features will be released, Samsung will likely release them alongside its upcoming devices this month.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Ring on July 10, 2024. All these upcoming devices could go on pre-order on the same day and become available for purchase a couple of weeks later.
