Last month, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition, a special version of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 made for athletes participating in the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. The brand gave this phone for free to every athlete participating in these games, and hasn’t made it available to purchase for other people. Well, you can now purchase one.
On eBay, someone is selling the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition with 12GB RAM + 512GB storage (via Shishir). They have listed the device for $1,680. For your reference, Samsung is selling the standard Galaxy Z Flip 7 12GB + 512GB for $,1019 in the US. The person selling the phone may have listed it for a higher price as it is a limited edition, something that you can’t buy at stores.
The one listing the device could either be an athlete selling the unit they got from Samsung for free. It is also possible that they have given the phone to someone else, and they are selling the device. It could also be a stolen unit, but that’s highly unlikely.
The listing says that it is the Galaxy Z Fold 3, but the model number and the device in the image are of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition. The person selling the phone seems to have gotten the name wrong.
Whatever the case, if you hoped that Samsung made the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition available to purchase for everyone, or are looking for a Galaxy Z Flip 7 that no one else around you has, this is your chance.
