Samsung is beginning to make the One UI 8 (Android 16) update for the Galaxy S24 lineup more widely available. A couple of days after the update went live in Korea, it is making its way to users in the UK and will likely go live in many other markets before the end of the week.
At the time of writing, the update seems to be available only for those who participated in the One UI 8 beta program. But we don't expect that to remain the case for long. However, the rollout may take until October to expand to some countries, at least if Samsung's official release schedule is accurate.
To download the update, navigate to the Settings > Software update menu on your phone and tap the Download and install button. For the smoothest update process, check out our guide on preparing your device for One UI 8.
Wondering what the update brings to your phone? We have you covered: find out everything you need to know about One UI 8 here so you can start taking advantage of the new features. For more One UI 8 content, visit our YouTube channel.
