Samsung's Galaxy S20 lineup is picking up a new software update. The Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, and S20 FE lost eligibility for OS updates a while ago, so the latest update only enhances their security, as expected.

The update is currently rolling out to the LTE variants of the S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra in some markets and to the 5G variants in others. The FE model is not receiving this update at the time of writing, and it may take a few days for that to change.

To check for updates, open the Settings » Software update menu on your phone and tap Download and install. You can also download Galaxy S20 firmware from SamMobile.

The Galaxy S20 series is eligible for security updates every three months, so the latest one comes right on time. It includes the March 2025 security patch, which fixes 58 security flaws discovered in the previous software.
