The Galaxy S20+'s teardown is pretty similar to that of the Galaxy S20 Ultra. One would need a heat gun to open the phone, starting with the Gorilla Glass 6 back panel. First, you would see the Qi wireless charging element, and removing it would reveal the 4500mAh battery that is attached to the phone's metal frame using lots of adhesive.
Removing the display is quite tedious as the 120Hz Super AMOLED panel is attached directly to the frame of the device without proper support. Hence, removing the Gorilla Glass 6 panel at the front will almost certainly damage the screen. The double-decker motherboard, featuring all the chips, is similar to the one inside the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Then there's the camera assembly, featuring a 12MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 64MP telephoto camera, and a 3D ToF camera.
The Galaxy S20+ has received a repairability score of 3/10 from iFixit. This means that it is not easy to repair the phone, thanks to all that glue and densely-packed internal components.
