Samsung is striving to enhance the customer experience in its stores. Following improvements to its retail outlets in its home country over the past couple of years, the company is now making it easier for Galaxy smartphone users in South Korea to get their phones repaired.
The company is bringing Baro Service pilot program in South Korea. It allows Galaxy smartphone users to get their phones repaired directly inside Samsung Stores. Starting today, this service is available in four Samsung Stores across Korea: Galleria Gwanggyo, Samsung Store Samsong, Samsung Store Sangdo, and The Hyundai Seoul.
Inside the store, people can get their phones, smartwatches, tablets, and wireless earbuds inspected for issues. Once the issue is identified, simpler repairs like screen and battery replacement will be done quickly.
With the One Day Pickup service, complex issues and repairs are handled at a nearby service center and then returned to the Samsung Store, and all of this happens in 1-2 days. Devices like microwave ovens, printers, smartphones, tablets, vacuum cleaners, and wearables are compatible with this service.
All the four stores mentioned above take in mobile devices for repairs, but small appliances can only be repaired to Samsung Stores in Samsong and Sangdo. After the pilot program is concluded, the company plans to bring this in-store repairs service to more its stores in South Korea.
