Update: Samsung is no longer following the timeline mentioned below. All devices except the Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will get One UI 7 May onwards.
Original story follows:
Shortly after starting the rollout of the official One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Fold SE, and the Flip 6, Samsung has published the release timeline (via Tarun) for many other devices that are eligible for the update.
What we feared has come true: only flagship devices launched in the last two years will get the update in April. Other devices will get the update in May and June.
Here's the full list of devices and the month in which they will receive the update:
While this timeline was posted for the Korean market, other countries should get the update at around the same time for most devices. It's also worth mentioning that some devices, like the Galaxy S21 FE and the Galaxy A73, aren't on the list as they weren't launched in Korea, and we can't say when they will get the update unless Samsung publishes the release schedule in other countries.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that Samsung will complete the rollout for all eligible devices by the end of June, though we will have to wait and see if the company can actually manage that. Samsung may not have any other choice, as it also needs to work on One UI 8, which will come preloaded on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.
