This doesn't come as a surprise: both the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy M55 were announced in March last year, and we could see the Galaxy M56 going official in a few weeks. But just how different it will be from the A-series phone remains to be seen.
The Galaxy M55 had many unique features that weren't available on the A55, including 45W charging and a 50MP front camera. However, it was powered by a Snapdragon chip that was considerably weaker than the A55's Exynos 1480.
The Galaxy A56 supports 45W charging and has a new 12MP front camera that should provide flagship-grade selfie quality despite the lower megapixel count, so it will be interesting to see how Samsung will differentiate the Galaxy M56. We can assume the company will use a Snapdragon chip for the M-series phone, but it's hard to say which one.
India will likely be among the first markets to see the Galaxy M56 go on sale. We will let you know as we learn more about the phone, so stay tuned.
Thanks for the tip, 정성현!
