The back is where the similarities are expected to be most noticeable. The flagship Galaxy S23 series and mid-rangers like the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy A34 could have individual camera rings at the rear, similar to existing devices like the Galaxy A32 and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. But it's not just the back of the phones that could share a uniform design language.
As discovered by our friends over at Galaxy Club, the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 could have wider screens compared to their predecessors. If the listings for the A54 and A34 on the HTML5test website are anything to go by, the display aspect ratio might be changed from 19.5:9 to 20:9, bringing it more in line with the display aspect ratio on Samsung's flagship phones.
The increase in display width will probably not feel too drastic in day-to-day use, but it does support the notion that it will soon get harder to differentiate between devices in Samsung's premier mid-range and flagship Galaxy lineups. In our opinion, that will not be a bad thing at all, though some folks may think otherwise.
Of course, nothing can be said for certain until these phones go official. Fortunately, if Samsung sticks to a strict yearly schedule, the wait for the official launch may not be all that long, as the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 were announced in March this year.
