Samsung has launched the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy A36, following other A-series devices like the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy A35. A36 owners in supported markets can join the beta program from the Samsung Members app.
The beta was first released in India, but it will also be available in Korea, the US, and the UK. Once interested users have enrolled into the program via the Samsung Members app, they can proceed to download the first One UI 8 beta update from the phone's Settings » Software update menu just like any other update.
The first beta update sports the build number A366EXXU4ZYHD and is a 2.1GB download. This is unsurprisingly much smaller than the update for Samsung's flagships, as mid-range phones don't receive all the big-ticket features (not that there are many on One UI 8 to begin with, but the point stands).
For more information on the One UI 8 update, check out the video below. And if you own the Galaxy A56, which launched alongside the Galaxy A36, don't hold your breath for the beta. For some reason, Samsung hasn't included the A56 in the list of A-series devices eligible for the beta.
