The folks over at TheTechOutlook have published exclusive renders of the Galaxy A15, and eagle-eyed viewers will notice how the design of the phone is a little different from what we're used to seeing on Samsung Galaxy smartphones. The first thing you will notice is how the A15 has a flat frame instead of the rounded one that Samsung generally uses, which could make the phone less comfortable to hold.
But that flat frame might be one of the key design elements Samsung will be using on more than one smartphone in 2024, including the Galaxy S24 lineup. Samsung is expected to use a flat display on all three Galaxy S24 models, so it's possible the frame will get the same treatment as well.
The Galaxy A15's frame also seems to protrude a little where the power and volume buttons are placed. That protruding frame looks rather unattractive in these renders but will hopefully look good in reality, especially if it's going to be a part of the design of multiple Galaxy smartphones in 2024.
Surprisingly enough, even with the flat frame, the A15 is reportedly thinner at 8.4mm (the Galaxy A14 is 9.1mm thick). The width and length of the phone might be lower, though, as it is said to feature a 6.4-inch display (with an Infinity-U notch) instead of the 6.6-inch display you get on the A14.
Not a lot of other Galaxy A15 specs are known at this time, and it could be a while before that changes if Samsung intends to launch the A15 a year after its predecessor, which would put the launch date somewhere in February, 2024.
