Samsung is already giving away a free Galaxy Watch FE

Samsung appears to be accidentally revealing the Galaxy Watch FE on its official website all around the world. A business listing for the upcoming watch was fuond on the Samsung US website earlier today, and over in France, Samsung is already promoting the Galaxy Watch FE as a free gift for Galaxy S24 buyers.

Samsung doesn't seem to be interested in making a big deal out of the Galaxy Watch FE, and that isn't surprising. The company's Fan Edition devices are simply a way for it to dump old hardware and component inventory and sell existing devices with a fresh paint of coat and a lower price tag.

Despite the branding, these devices don't really offer anything special for fans. The Galaxy Watch FE, for instance, is a rebranded version of the Galaxy Watch 4, which came out three years ago.

These early listings, even if accidental, suggest that the Galaxy Watch FE will be announced before Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris next month. Samsung France's Watch FE promotion is valid for Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra purchases till the end of this month, so the official launch could happen sometime in the last week of June or the first week of July.
