Samsung Display is one of the world's leading suppliers of display technologies. The company's work on OLED panels is particularly noteworthy, as it has helped usher in a new era of innovations across various markets, including smartphones, tablets, automobiles, and more.
The company has been focusing on expanding its vehicle OLED portfolio in recent years. It will showcase a new “digital cockpit” experience at IAA Mobility 2025 in Germany to highlight its OLED mastery.
Its digital cockpit demo has been designed for self-driving vehicles of the future. The demo will use OLED across all touchpoints for the driver and passenger. It includes a 10.25-inch moving cluster display for the driver which acts as a dashboard and retracts into the dashboard when the vehicle is parked.
A 14.4-inch L-shaped OLED panel sits between the driver and passenger in the center console, allowing for intuitive access to commonly used features such as the climate control.
The company will also showcase its new rear seat entertainment products which include a 9.4-inch round display as well as a 30-inch rooftop display with a 32:9 aspect ratio to provide a fully immersive entertainment experience for rear passengers.
Samsung Display will be the only panel manufacturer showcasing its technology at IAA Mobility 2025 which takes place from September 9 to 14 in Munich, Germany. It will showcase many different automotive technologies at the event that will help power the future of mobility.
