The focus here is on enterprise clients, public service and industry professionals, logistics workers, and so on. The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is a business device first and foremost, so it's chock-full of features that don't exist on standard Galaxy phones.
For example, the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is the only Samsung smartphone released in 2022 to boast a user-removable battery. The phone also supports charging capabilities through Pogo Pin connectors. Furthermore, the loudspeakers are, well, louder so that they can be used in noisy work environments, and the phone supports a comprehensive array of dedicated accessories for enterprise customers.
True to its title, the latest promotional video demonstrates enterprise use cases and doesn't go into much detail regarding hardware specifications, aside from the display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate.
This 6.6-inch 120Hz panel is PLS LCD rather than OLED. It's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, which is quite a pleasant surprise. In theory, it makes the XCover 6 Pro a better performance device than the beloved Galaxy A53.
Other specs include a dual-camera system featuring a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, a 4,050mAh removable battery with 15W charging, and numerous software features that help productivity, such as Samsung DeX and a barcode scanner.
Check out our original launch story for more details on specifications, and don't forget about the new promotional video below.
