    Samsung to debut eco-friendly customized home appliances at KBIS 2023 in the US

    Samsung will introduce a new range of eco-friendly, customized home appliances that will focus on sustainability at the KBIS 2023 (The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show 2023) event held in Las Vegas, USA. The event will start will be held between January 31 and February 2. The KBIS is the largest kitchen and bathroom-related exhibition in North America, which witnesses attendance from 420 companies from all over the world.

    To promote eco-friendly activities, Samsung Electronics will introduce the SmartThings Energy service. This will allow users to keep a check on the power consumption of the connected device and run it on the AI saving mode. Samsung's eco-friendly range of customized home appliances in the US market comes with an Energy Star certification and has also won the CES 2023 Innovation Award.

    Samsung's American luxury appliance subsidiary will also be participating in KBIS 2023

    Samsung will introduce the Bespoke Refrigerator Family Hub Plus, which features a 32-inch screen to control and manage the devices connected with SmartThings. It has an in-built camera and AI Pro Cooking mode. The event will also witness the Samsung Bespoke AI Wall Oven, which automatically recognizes the menu with an algorithm and recommends optimal cooking values. A Calm Onboarding feature that will help streamline the connectivity of new devices to SmartThings will also be introduced.

    The South Korean conglomerate will also have a ‘My Bespoke' zone that will feature the world's only refrigerator that you can design yourself and apply photos or artwork taken from your mobile device to. Samsung Electronics plans to introduce the ‘MyBespoke' service in the US in February, costing $300 per panel.

    At the KBIS 2023, the company will also display ‘Bespoke Home Virtual', a 3D metaverse-based experience store for home appliances. Visitors can freely roam around the 3D home via a 146-inch The Wall display and interact with the appliances placed inside the home. Additionally, Samsung's American luxury built-in appliance subsidiary, Dacor, will also display its products.
