For the last two years, Samsung has been launching a new Fan Edition smartphone around September or October. However, that may not be the case with the brand’s next device in the lineup, the Galaxy S25 FE, as the company suggests that it may launch the phone earlier.
Earlier today, Samsung held the earnings call for Q2 2025. During it, Samsung’s Vice President of Mobile Experience, Daniel Araujo, said, “For the Galaxy S25 series, we will focus on maintaining sales momentum with seasonal promotions as well as an earlier launch of the S25 FE (via Android Authority).”
If “earlier” translates to even a single month, we could see the South Korean tech giant debuting the Galaxy S25 FE next month (August 2025), or in some regions, where August has already kicked off, this month. Either way, the phone’s arrival is very near.
According to previous leaks and rumours, the Galaxy S25 FE will offer a thinner OLED panel than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE, which could result in the reduction of the thickness from 8mm to 7.4mm. It may also have a higher resolution selfie camera (12MP vs. 10MP) and faster charging speed (45W vs. 25W) compared to last year’s model. The other specifications of the phone will most likely be similar to the one it will replace.
