Samsung is upgrading its premium service plan for Galaxy phones, known as Samsung Care+, in Europe. It offers enhanced service coverage and high-quality support, providing Galaxy smartphone users with added reassurance and protection against potential accidental damage and technical issues.
Samsung Care+ now includes unlimited accidental damage coverage in Europe. This means subscribers can benefit from unlimited repairs at Samsung-certified service locations in the event of drops, knocks, or spills. The company has also simplified the excess fee structure, ensuring the same fee applies regardless of the type or extent of damage to a Galaxy device.
In addition, Samsung Care+ now provides coverage both at home and abroad. Galaxy smartphone users can have their devices repaired even while traveling outside of their country or applicable region, as Samsung has removed the previous 60-day trip limit that applied under the earlier version of the plan.
Even after a device’s standard warranty period has expired, it will continue to receive warranty coverage as long as it remains under Samsung Care+. Samsung will also replace a device’s battery at no additional cost if its capacity falls below 80 percent, even if the standard warranty has ended.
Customers who purchase Samsung Care+ can walk into authorized service centers and have their devices repaired quickly, provided the service is available at that location. All repairs under the plan carried out at Samsung-authorized service centers use genuine Samsung parts and components.
If customers choose a mail-in repair option, Samsung will arrange seamless collection of the device and deliver it back once the repair is complete.
For those who don't prefer to pay upfront for Samsung Care+, Samsung has introduced a monthly payment option for up to 60 months. Customers who opt for a one-time payment can pay upfront for a policy lasting up to two years.
Samsung Care+ also offers an optional theft and loss coverage add-on. If a phone is lost or stolen and a replacement is approved, a replacement device will be dispatched within 48 hours. Samsung Knox Guard can be used to remotely lock a missing phone, preventing misuse and helping keep personal data secure. This feature must be activated before the device is lost or stolen.
Sangwook Chun, EVP and Head of the Samsung Care+ Team, said, “As our customers rely more heavily on their devices every day, their expectations for protection have evolved. We’ve upgraded Samsung Care+ to include unlimited repairs and added more walk-in repair locations across Europe to help our customers get the most from their Galaxy devices, wherever life takes them.”
By simplifying protection, enhancing coverage, and ensuring access to high-quality support, Samsung Care+ aims to provide a reassuring safety net tailored to customer needs across Europe.
You should note that Samsung Care+ is not available in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, or Ukraine.
