You could always just drop your phone there and come back to pick it up later but your schedule might now allow it. If you find yourself in this dilemma and happen to be based in Germany, Samsung will now deliver your repaired phone to you in an eco-friendly manner.
Samsung Germany has launched an Eco Bike delivery service that's offered for free to customers living in Cologne, Berlin and Munich (Munich (Amalienstraße). Customers who drop a damaged Samsung device at one of the company's repair shops in these cities don't have to wait around on-site anymore.
They can opt for the more convenient option to have it delivered by bike courier to their home. Samsung Germany is offering this service free of cost to customers. It's pertinent to note that the bike couriers will only cover a radius of about six kilometers around their designated customer service center.
With that being said, it's a good initiative on Samsung's part to utilize a sustainable method for a delivery service that makes its customers' lives easier. The company could expand this bike courier service to other cities across Germany. Whether it launches the service in other countries remains to be seen.
