After Samsung launched the Galaxy S26 series a few weeks ago, Galaxy S25 users were hoping that at least some of the newer Galaxy AI features would make their way to older devices. However, when rumors suggested that Samsung might not bring these features to previous models, many Galaxy S25 users expressed their frustration.

Now, Samsung has confirmed that it plans to bring newer Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S25 series. In a post on the Samsung Community forums, a company moderator thanked users for their feedback and revealed that a software update is in development. This update will introduce advanced Galaxy AI features, including the AI-powered call screening feature that debuted with One UI 8.5 on the Galaxy S26 series.

Samsung also stated that additional features and usability improvements will be released for major Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S25 series. These updates are expected to arrive with the stable One UI 8.5 release, although the rollout timeline has not yet been announced.

With the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung introduced several new AI-powered features, including:

  • Agentic AI
  • AI ISP
  • Creative Studio
  • Improved Audio Eraser
  • Improved Now Brief
  • Improved Photo Assist
  • New Bixby
