The Samsung Art Store provides access to incredible art from some of the world's leading artists, enabling its TV owners to liven up their spaces with pieces that are otherwise only available in museums.
The company today announced further expansion of the Art Store's library with the exclusive addition of two vibrant American artists, Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The two artists were close friends and contemporaries in the vibrant art scene of 1980s New York. The new pieces have been added in collaboration with Artestar, the agency that represents Keith Haring Studio and the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Users will now be able to access 12 new exclusive artworks each from both artists, expanding their existing collection that's already available through the platform. The artwork is available through the platform on Samsung's Frame and Frame Pro, Micro RGB, Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, and QLED TVs.
The new Haring pieces added to the Art Store include some of his most iconic works, such as the three eyed monster, running heart, and his famous subway chalk drawings. 12 popular pieces from Haring are already available in the Samsung Art Store.
A similar number of pieces from Jean-Michel Basquiat are also being added. This is only the second time that the artist's work has been officially released for digital display.
The new pieces available via the Art Store include Palm Spring, Jump, King of the Zulus, Philistines, and more. 12 iconic pieces by Basquiat are already available on the platform.
