Samsung unveils massive 130-inch Micro RGB TV with a stunning design

During its pre-CES 2026 press event titled ‘The First Look,' Samsung unveiled a massive 130-inch Micro RGB TV (R95H). It is almost as big as its The Wall TV, which was unveiled a few years ago, but it uses a completely different technology. It uses an LCD-based Micro RGB technology that the company unveiled a few months ago.

It is Samsung's first 130-inch TV that is based on RGB LED-based backlighting technology. It uses an LCD-based VA panel with Quantum Dot improvements and a full-array backlighting that consists of thousands of RGB-based micrometer-sized LEDs. The TV's panel also features the Glare Free technology to reduce glare and reflections from the light sources nearby, making it an ideal TV to be used in bright rooms.

The color processing is done by Samsung's Micro RGB AI Engine Pro chip. It supports HDR10, HDR10+ Advanced, HLG, VRR, and ALLM. In terms of audio, it supports both Dolby Atmos and Eclipsa Audio. It also has Q-Symphony to integrate wirelessly with Samsung's audio devices and soundbars.

With Micro RGB Precision Color 100, it supports a 100% coverage of the BT.2020 wide color gamut. Micro RGB Color Booster Pro analyzes content on the screen and optimizes the colors and contrast. Micro RGB HDR Pro can convert SDR content into HDR for higher fidelity.

The TV runs the latest version of Tizen operationg system, complete with One UI interface. Samsung has promised to offer software updates to the TV for seven years.

Samsung's new TV also features several AI-powered features through the Vision AI Companion suite. The Bixby digital assistant is now powered by large language models (LLMs) and offers conversational search and can answer your questions. It can offer proactive content recommendations, control smart home devices, and a lot more. Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity apps come preloaded on the TV.

AI Football Mode Pro optimizes colors and contrast for sports matches. It can reduce background noise or mute the commentary using AI. The TV can generate wallpapers using Generative AI, translate language of the audio live using the Live Translate feature,
