It's actually a smart decision.

Samsung did confirm a few days ago that we've reached the end of the road for the Galaxy Z TriFold. This week's restock in South Korea was the last and the company said that once existing stock sold through in other markets like the US, that would be it for them as well.
We now seem to have reached that moment, as the Galaxy Z TriFold is no longer in stock on Samsung's website in the United States, and is unlikely to be restocked.
It's only been a couple of months since the Galaxy Z TriFold was released in the United States. Samsung only sold the device through its online store as well as select Samsung Experience Store outlets across the country. The device was not offered through any carrier or retail partners.
If you wanted one, your only option was to either buy it online when the stock was available or visit one of the stores in person to pick one up. Given that these stores are only in a few major cities, chances are a lot of people couldn't get the device even if they wanted one.
Now, they may not be able to at all. It's unlikely that we see the Galaxy Z TriFold be restocked again as the company has publicly confirmed that no further units are on the way. It may already have ceased production.
As we opined recently, though, discontinuing the Galaxy Z TriFold is a smart move, as it may only increase the market's appetite for such devices in the future.
