How many of you still remember Pokemon Go? Maybe you're still playing the mobile game today. Well, Samsung definitely remembers, and the company recently teamed up with Niantic to bring exclusive Pokemon Go experiences to Brazil Game Show (BGS) 2025.
Between October 9 and 12, Pokemon Go players can visit Samsung's 1,000 square meter booth at BGS in the Anhembi District to participate in special activities and earn prizes. At the same time, Samsung will promote the Galaxy S25 FE.
Visitors can sign up for tournaments with influencers and take photos in an interactive Pokemon-themed setting enabled by the S25 FE. Samsung will also give out coupons that can be redeemed at the Galaxy Store for PokeCoins, in-game event tickets, and other items.
As for people who just want to play Pokemon Go at Samsung's booth, they'll enjoy a greater variety of Pokemon within Samsung's dedicated gaming area at the event.
Some Pokemon found in Samsung's play area will even wear special hats to celebrate the event.
And to the benefit of trainers, the Samsung play area will also enable higher chances to trigger Capture Assist with Buddy. For a bit of memorabilia, trainers can win special Ditto stickers and other surprises.
Pokemon Go quickly became one of the biggest phenomena when it debuted nearly 10 years ago. It convinced millions of people to go outside more often to play the game and socialize.
Although it may no longer be as popular as it used to be nearly a decade ago, Pokemon Go is still going strong and, for many, it has remained a great way to go out and socialize with other players, especially at gaming events such as BGS.
