One UI 8 Beta 2 for Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 is out!

Samsung has released the second beta version of One UI 8 to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Here are the changes it offers.

At the start of this month, Samsung opened the Android 16-based One UI 8.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Now, the brand is rolling out the second beta version of the new software to the two phones.

Samsung has released One UI 8 Beta 2 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. At the moment, it is available in Korea. As you can see in the screenshots below, it carries firmware version ZYI6 (via Tarun Vats). Let's take a look at the changes it offers.

According to the change log, the update brings fixes for four bugs. Below is the official change log (translated from Korean to English).

Fixed an issue where the phone would reset while in use

Fixed an issue where DeX settings were not maintained when updating from a previous OS to One UI 8

Fixed an issue where the Galaxy Watch 7 watch weather app was not updating in real time

Fixed an issue where the multi-window would forcefully close while the camera was running in KakaoTalk chat room
