The Galaxy Book Experience app on Galaxy Books received an update to version 3.4.0.0 earlier today for what Samsung calls the One UI Book 6.1 software for its Windows laptops. After getting updated, it revealed some One UI 7.0 stock app icons, including Phone, Samsung Notes, SmartThings, and Tips.
These icons line up with One UI 7.0's stock app icons that were leaked a few weeks ago.
You can see those leaked apps in the image below.
The Samsung Notes app, which looks quite odd, was leaked earlier as well. However, we hope Samsung doesn't end up using it in the stable version of One UI 7.0.
There is some change in the looks of the Tips app's icon. It appears to be using a lighter shade of yellow compared to earlier. The iconography also looks a bit simpler.
You can watch an early beta build of One UI 7.0 and its UI design in our hands-on video below.
Samsung has been trying to bring the One UI design to its digital appliances, TVs, laptops, PCs, and smartwatches. Its first step was to announce the One UI design for the Tizen OS software on its TVs, and the update has already been released to some TVs. The same design language could soon come to its home appliances featuring a touchscreen.
The South Korean firm said it will release the One UI 7.0 beta update before the end of this year and the stable One UI 7.0 update early next year.
Thanks for the tip, Yonis!
