One UI 7.0 beta slots may open on Monday, so be prepared!

It's been over a week since Samsung opened up the One UI 7.0 beta program. The first beta firmware was released for the Galaxy S24 series in South Korea, the United States, and Germany. Others countries are due to get it as well, and Samsung is also expected to roll out the One UI 7.0 beta 2 in the coming week.

While Samsung does open the beta program to the public, spots tend to be limited, so if you don't register in time you end up having to wait for the next release whereby additional spots are released. That may happen on Monday, December 16.

Monday could see a flurry of One UI 7.0 beta activity

Monday could be an interesting day for everyone who's watching the beta progress very closely. Samsung was initially expected to expand the availability of the first beta to more markets, including India, earlier this week.

However, that didn't happen, and it also meant that the One UI 7.0 beta 2 that was expected to be released within the week as well wouldn't hit the enrolled devices. Now there has been some indication from Samsung support that the beta would be expanded to other markets on December 16, and there's a chance that this is also when the company rolls out the second beta.

Spots will inevitably open up by then so keep an eye on our website and social media feeds as we'll let you know as soon as it goes live. Samsung is currently rolling out the beta only for the Galaxy S24 series but other devices will eventually get it as well, but as recent events have shown, at least the Galaxy S23 series won't receive it before 2025.
