Be gone, unused tabs!

Samsung Internet is a pretty solid browser. The company routinely updates it with new features to further improve the user experience. With everything getting an AI sprinkling these days, it was only a matter of time before the browser picked up some of that fairy dust as well.
A new feature has been added to Samsung Internet Beta that utilizes AI to help with tab management. Since most of us tend to have dozens of tabs open that we just can't be bothered to close, this is going to be a very useful feature.
Samsung Internet Browser Beta v29.0.0.27 has added a new “Auto close unused tabs” feature. It will automatically close tabs that haven't been used for a certain time. You can choose to have tabs closed after 7 or 30 days, or you can opt for smart tab management which relies on AI to close tabs “as soon as it detects that you're not using them.”
This will be super helpful to all of us that have dozens of unused tabs just clogging up space in the browser. The smart tab management feature is a good set and forget option, as the browser will take care of it all without requiring any input from the user.
The latest beta update also adds a new Grid view mode for the tab management for easier management. Tab scroll animations have been added as well to further streamline the process.
You can access the latest Samsung Internet Beta from the Galaxy Store. Features that are first introduced in the beta version typically make their way to the stable version in a few weeks.
