Earlier today, Samsung started rolling out the April 2026 security patch to Galaxy Z series devices with the Galaxy Z TriFold. Now, the South Korean tech giant has released it for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
As with all the other software updates, Samsung is offering this one first in its home country, South Korea. The updates for the two devices that bring it, carry firmware versions ending with AZCS (via Samsung Community).
The April 2026 security patch addresses 47 security issues present in the previous version of the OS. To get it on your Galaxy Z Fold 7 or the Galaxy Z Flip 7, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Samsung should release it in other countries in the next few days.
Recently, Samsung opened the One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. It allows their users to experience the new software, which brings a new UI and many new features, before the brand releases it for everyone in the next few weeks.
