A couple of days ago, Samsung released an update for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, which, among other things, brought support for Apple's AirDrop. Back then, the brand offered the update in its home country, South Korea. Now, the company is rolling it out in more regions around the world, including India.
On our Galaxy S26 Ultra in India, we have received a software update. It is 868.11MB in size and carries firmware version S948BXXU1AZCF. The changelog stated only two changes — “Overall stability of functions improved” and “The security of your device has been improved” — as you can see in the screenshots below.

Suspecting that this is the update that brings AirDrop support, we headed to Quick Share settings, and voila, there it is, the option that says ‘Share with Apple devices.' We turned it on and tried sending files to Apple devices, including iPhone and Mac Mini, and as expected, the feature works flawlessly.
