If you plan on using the Galaxy Z Fold 4 for mobile photography and find the default Camera app lacking, Expert RAW might be exactly what you're looking for. This Samsung app brings pro-grade camera tools and controls to your fingertips and maximizes the potential of the phone's camera system. Furthermore, it allows users to export RAW files for editing in pro tools like Photoshop.
The app debuted on the Galaxy S21 Ultra and has since received support for other top-tier Samsung smartphones, including the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Samsung's latest foldable phone has now joined the list with Expert RAW 2.0.00.3.
In addition to Galaxy Z Fold 4 support, the latest Expert RAW version also claims to improve image quality in low-light conditions. And as some of you might recall, this isn't the first time Samsung promised better low-light photos in its pro-grade camera app. Since its 2021 debut, Expert RAW has received a handful of updates, some of which targeted low-light photography.
And last but not least, Expert RAW 2.0.00.3 finally adds support for Custom Presets. Samsung teased this feature in a roadmap on the official Community Forums back in July, and it now appears to be rolling it out in time for Galaxy Z Fold 4 customers to enjoy.
As the name implies, Custom Presets allow Expert RAW users to create custom presets for the multitude of camera settings available inside the pro-grade app, which could save them a lot of setup time.
You can grab the latest version of Expert RAW from the Galaxy Store.
