Earlier today, Samsung released the first teaser for its upcoming lineup of non-foldable flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S26 series, confirming its existence officially for the first time and suggesting that the brand may launch it soon. The company is expected to debut these phones on 25 February 2026 and put them on sale on 11 March.
Early reports about the Galaxy S26 series suggested that the company may launch it at a higher price than the Galaxy S25 lineup. However, recent reports claim that while the tech giant may launch it at the same price as before, the brand may not offer pre-order benefits with it. Well, we now have more detailed information on the matter.
According to Roland Quandt, the Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26+ will cost almost the same as the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+ in Europe, despite offering them with higher storage. That means the regular model will start at €899, and the Plus version will cost €1,169 for the base variant.
As for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, its 256GB and 512GB storage variants will cost EUR 100 less than those versions of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It means that they will have a price tag of €1,469 and €1,569, respectively. Whereas the phone's 1TB model will cost the same as last year’s 1TB model (€1,829).
Lately, smartphone brands have been increasing the prices of their devices as memory prices are going up. Samsung, on the other hand, is offering flagship phones with upgraded hardware at the same or lower price, at least going by the latest report, which is a great feat. However, there's some bad news too.
As some of the previous reports about the Galaxy S26 series pointed out, Samsung will not be offering as amazing pre-order benefits with them as it did with the current ones, but that shouldn't be a deal-breaker for many. Note that these prices are for Europe. In other countries, things could be different.
