The major mobile carriers in the United States have been somewhat similar in the deals that they've offered for the Galaxy S26 series. Some of the more nimble carriers like Mint Mobile can often have more appealing options.
That is the case with Mint Mobile's Galaxy S26 deals as well, which are now available to new customers in the country.
For a limited time only, customers who purchase any of the three Galaxy S26 models from Mint Mobile will get a flat $400 instant discount. This thus brings down the $1,300 Galaxy S26 Ultra with 256GB of internal storage to $900.
As this is an instant discount, you don't need to jump through any hoops to get the savings, and no trade-in is required. However, if you do have an old phone lying around that you wouldn't mind trading in, you can save an additional $200.
The sweetener here is that customers will also receive 50% savings on the 12-month Unlimited plan. This plan typically costs $360 for 12 months, but Mint Mobile is giving it to you for an upfront payment of $180 for the whole year. Your total out of pocket expense before taxes will thus be $1,080 for a 256GB Galaxy S26 Ultra with a year's worth of unlimited mobile service. That's a pretty good deal!
If you're looking to maximize the trade-in values for an existing device, though, you won't find better values anywhere else other than Samsung's online store.
