Since the launch of the Galaxy S20 FE, Samsung has released a new Galaxy FE series phone almost every year. This year appears to be no different, as the South Korean firm is expected to launch the Galaxy S26 FE. A new leak has now revealed some key details about its performance and processor.
A Samsung device with the model number SM-S741U has appeared in Geekbench’s database. Based on the model number, it is likely the Galaxy S26 FE. The listing suggests that the device is powered by a chip with the model number S5E9955, which corresponds to the Exynos 2500.
This is the same processor used in the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The device also appears to have 8GB of RAM and runs Android 17 with One UI 9. The device scored 2,426 points in Geekbench 6's single-core CPU test and 8,004 points in the multi-core CPU test.

Compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which uses the same chip, the Galaxy S26 FE appears to be around 15 percent faster in single-core performance and about 8 percent faster in multi-core performance. This could indicate better thermal performance, likely due to its larger form factor.
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, made by Chinese firm CSOT. It could have an in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It may be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variants.
The upcoming phone is likely to include a 12MP front-facing camera, a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. It is also expected to support 4K 60fps video recording using the front, primary, and ultrawide cameras.
It could be powered by a 4,900mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging. The Galaxy S26 FE could feature 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
