Samsung unveiled its first smartphone with a tri-folding display, the Galaxy Z TriFold, in December 2025. Initially, the brand launched it in Korea, and eventually, made it available to purchase in a few countries. One of them was the United States.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z TriFold in the US on 30 January 2026 for $2,899, and the phone went out of stock on the same day. A few days ago, we reported that it may come back in stock this month, and that’s exactly what’s happening.
Samsung, on its website for the US, says that the Galaxy Z TriFold will be back in stock on February 20, 2026, as you can see in the screenshot below.
If you were among the people who couldn’t get their hands on the Galaxy Z TriFold in the US when Samsung launched it, now is your chance to grab it.
On the webpage, Samsung says, “And restocks go by fast! Check back on Friday so you don't miss the next opportunity to get the foldable that reshapes what's possible, available only on samsung.com.”
In other words, since this is the only phone with a tri-folding display in the country, and will be available in limited quantities, it may go out of stock quickly. If you want one, you should act quickly.
