A report reveals how much you will have to pay to replace the outer and inner screens of the Galaxy Z TriFold in Korea.
Reading time: 2 minutes
Last month, Samsung launched the brand’s first smartphone with a tri-folding display, the Galaxy Z TriFold, and today, the company has made it available to purchase (and it was sold out in minutes). It means that starting today, there’s a possibility that people may drop their Galaxy Z TriFold and reach out to the brand to get it fixed. Well, we now know how much it will cost them to replace the outer and inner screens of the device.
According to a report, the Galaxy Z TriFold’s outer display costs between KRW 1,37,000 and KRW 226,000 (approximately between $92 and $153), whereas the inner display costs between KRW 1,657,500 and KRW 1,834,500 (approximately between $1,122 and $1,242). While the price of replacing the cover display is similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the price of replacing the inner display is insanely high, but then it’s a tri-folding screen.
The report also says that at every major Samsung store in Korea, the brand is making 15 to 30 units of the device available to purchase, and nationwide, the company has made 700 units of the device available to purchase. Lastly, it says that the tech giant is planning to sell 2,500 to 5,000 units of the phone by early next year. We don’t have information about the credibility of the blog.
