The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are the first Samsung earbuds to use planar driver technology. More accurately, each earbud has a 10.5mm dynamic driver and a 6.1mm planar driver for high-frequency sounds.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro earbuds use Samsung's new audio codec, Samsung Seamless Codec Ultra High Quality (SSC UHQ), alongside AAC and SBC codecs. Samsung's solution enables a 24-bit 96Hz sampling rate.
