Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 February 2025 update is widely available

After bringing the February 2025 security update to too many Galaxy phones to count, Samsung has turned its attention toward the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3.

The two foldable phones from 2021 are now receiving the February 2025 update in numerous markets. The latest security patch is rolling out for a few variants, including:

Galaxy Z Fold 3 (SM-F926B) firmware version: F926BXXSAIYB1
Galaxy Z Fold 3 (SM-F926N) firmware version: F926NKSS6JYB1
Galaxy Z Fold 3 (SM-F926U1) firmware version: F926U1UES9JYB1
Galaxy Z Flip 3 (SM-F711B) firmware version: F711BXXSBIYB1
Galaxy Z Flip 3 (SM-F711N) firmware version: F711NKSS7JYB1
Galaxy Z Flip 3 (SM-F711U1) firmware version: F711U1TBSAJYB1

As per the model numbers listed above, the February 2025 security patch is available for the international, Korean, and US-unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

If your device carries one of those model numbers, you should be able to download the latest firmware update by opening the Settings app on the device, accessing “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.”
