While Samsung will face tough competition from Apple in the foldable smartphone market this year, it is not the company’s only rival. The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 will also face competition from the OPPO Find N6. It is set to launch later this month in China and is expected to feature a larger battery, faster charging, and more advanced camera hardware.
OPPO has already revealed the design and some specifications of the Find N6. The company will hold a global launch event for the phone on March 17, 2026. OPPO claims the Find N6 has an ultra-flat foldable display with little to no visible crease and maintains a smooth surface even after prolonged use. The device will also support OPPO’s AI Stylus, which works on both the 6.62-inch cover OLED display and the 8.12-inch foldable OLED display with Ultra Thin Glass (UTG).

On the back, the phone features a triple-camera setup that includes a 200MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, and a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and a periscope-style zoom lens. It has two 20MP front-facing cameras, one for each display.

The OPPO Find N6 is equipped with the 7-core version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It is expected to come with at least 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging.
Unlike last year, OPPO plans to release its new flagship foldable phone in several Asian and European markets.
In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to be available in two versions: a regular model and a wide-screen variant. Both devices could be powered by an 8-core Snapdragon processor and offer 12GB or 16GB of RAM, along with at least 256GB of internal storage. The wider version will go head-to-head with the first foldable iPhone.
Both devices are expected to feature a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera, and 10MP selfie cameras. The phones could be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W fast charging. Both models are expected to launch in July 2026.
