A couple of days ago, an alleged changelog for the first beta version of One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 leaked, suggesting that the brand could expand the One UI 8.5 beta program for the smartphone and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 very soon. As expected, it's finally here.
Samsung has opened the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6. At the moment, it is live in the brand’s home country, South Korea.
Samsung should make the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 available in other regions, including India, the UK, and the US, in the next few hours.
One UI 8.5 brings many changes. For starters, you get a new user interface that looks cleaner and more sophisticated. Then there are many new features that make using the device more convenient and fun. To get the beta version of One UI 8.5 on your Galaxy Z Fold 6 or the Galaxy Z Flip 6, open the Samsung Members app, search for the banner for the beta program for your device, tap on it, and register your device for it. Now, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Here, you should see an update offering the beta version of One UI 8.5. Tap on Install now to get it.
