Earlier today, Samsung started rolling out the March 2026 security patch to Galaxy smartphones. The brand released it first for the Galaxy S26 series and then for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Now, the company is offering it to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 as well.
At the moment, Samsung is rolling out the updates that bring the March 2026 security to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 only in its home country, South Korea. These update for the former carries firmware version F956NKSS3CZC1, and that for the latter carries firmware version F741NKSS3CZC1.
The March 2026 security patch fixes 65 security issues that were present in the previous version of the OS, making the two phones more secure than before. As usual, Samsung should start rolling it out to devices outside Korea in the next few days.
To check if Samsung has made the update available for your device and get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. On a related note, a few moments ago, firmware files for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Flip 6 with One UI 8.5 were spotted on Samsung’s servers.
