Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3 get May 2024 security update

The international variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3, which carry the model numbers SM-F926B and SM-F711B respectively, are getting new software updates. They bring the May 2024 security patch to the two phones, which fixes 45 security issues.

The new firmware for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 carries version F926BXXS7HXE1 and that for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 carries version F711BXXS8HXE2. At the moment, the update is live in many countries across Europe and North America. Other regions should get them soon.

To get the May 2024 security patch on your Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 directly from Samsung, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. The other way is to download the firmware (available in our database) and install it manually using Odin.
