Samsung's stylish Galaxy Z Flip 7 is available for pre-order globally, and as usual, Samsung USA offers some of the best trade-in deals around. If you're looking to upgrade from an older Flip phone to the latest edge-to-edge model, you can benefit from enhanced trade-in values during the pre-order period.
First things first, Samsung USA's pre-order bonuses for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 include a free memory upgrade from 256GB to 512GB and an instant $150 Samsung Credit if you pick the no-trade-in option. You can use the $150 credit to lower the prices of Samsung wearables and accessories.
On the other hand, if you want to use the trade-in program and upgrade your old Flip phone to the new Galaxy Z Flip 7, you forego the $150 credit and benefit from discounts of up to $600, all the while still getting the free memory upgrade. Here are all the Flip trade-in values valid right now.
The 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 usually starts at $1,219, but you can now buy it without a trade-in for $1,099 thanks to the free storage upgrade bonus available for pre-order customers. And if you trade the Galaxy Z Flip 6, you can upgrade to the 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 for $499.
The new Galaxy Z Flip 7 features an edge-to-edge cover screen design, and it's the thinnest model yet. Both the cover and foldable screens are larger, and the hinge mechanism was redesigned to reduce the foldable display crease and improve durability.
The phone also boasts a battery upgrade and is the first Flip in the series to support Samsung DeX — the desktop platform that allows you to turn your smartphone into a pocket PC.
