Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It brings the May 2025 security patch to the foldable phones and is currently available in South Korea. The new update could be released in other countries soon.
The new software update is rolling out for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 with firmware version F741NKSS2BYDD and with firmware version F956NKSS2BYDD for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It is a 400MB odd update that includes the May 2025 security patch that fixes dozens of vulnerabilities in the core Android operating system and 20 additional vulnerabilities in Samsung phones.
The official changelog for this update just mentions security and reliability improvements.
Since the update is currently only available in South Korea, you might not find it on your device if you live in any other country. However, it won't be long before Samsung releases the update in other countries and regions globally. So, keep checking our website to know when the update is released in your region.
