    It has been just a month since the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5, but Samsung is already discounting its new foldable phones. In the US, you can get a discount of up to $200 on the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and up to $300 on the Galaxy Z Fold 5, making it a great time to buy them if you've been thinking of getting a new foldable phone.

    The Galaxy Z Flip 5 can be purchased from Amazon USA for just $799.99 instead of its regular price of $999.99. Remember, this pricing is for the base 256GB version of the phone, and the 512GB version of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is also discounted ($919.99). The flip phone is discounted for all color variants: Cream, Graphite, Mint, and Lavender.

    Similarly, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is also selling at a discount of $300. That means you can buy the 256GB version of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 for just $1,499.99 instead of its usual price of $1,799.99. The 512GB version of the phone also has a limited-time $300 discount, which means you can get it for $1,619.99. The discount is available on Cream, Icy Blue, and Phantom Black colors of the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

    Galaxy Z Flip 5 specifications

    The Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 3.4-inch cover screen on the outside that you can use to check notifications, widgets, and even to use apps. It has a 6.9-inch foldable OLED internal screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, and a 3,700mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

    Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Z Flip 5 with a 10MP selfie camera, a 12MP primary camera with OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. It has GPS, 5G, eSIM, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. The phone has stereo speakers, an IPX8 rating for water resistance, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It runs Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 and will get four major Android OS updates.

    Galaxy Z Fold 5 specifications

    The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a 6.2-inch 120Hz OLED screen on the outside and a 7.6-inch foldable OLED screen on the inside with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has a 10MP selfie camera on the outside and a 4MP under-display camera on the inside. There is a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. It has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 12GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage.

    It has GPS, 5G, eSIM, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, UWB, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. It has stereo speakers, an IPX8 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Samsung Pay, and Samsung DeX. It is powered by a 4,400mAh battery with 25W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

    The Galaxy Z Fold 5 runs Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 software out of the box, and Samsung has promised to support it with four major Android OS updates and up to five years of security updates.
